This guy is purposely not doing the other anchors correctly to boost his advertisement of the mantis anchor. 100% Fraud, just for this, I will never buy a mantis anchor due to the lies this guy is saying. Dishonest business.

I'm a cruiser and currently have a Highfield 360. I love Mantus products, so I'm sure this tender is top notch. One recommendation....more options for wheels. Those wheels are two small for proper beach landings. My current dinghy has wheels that extend down far enough to protect the propeller as you come in to the beach. Also, bigger wheels make it easier to get the dinghy up on the beach. Interested in viewing all the specs.

What’s the hull made out of? This seems like a pretty heavy boat compared to or aluminum hulled Highfield.

So, big thing I noticed, is it took two people to drag it up a beach. Claimed weight is 190lbs: does that include all the accessories shown in the boat? How many years do you expect the plastic to last before it becomes brittle? Rotomolded kayaks certainly dont last long.. 5 years?

Something about the drag tests seems wrong. No way the Ultra and the Rocna perform that poorly. In large anchors, I'm convinced Ultra is the best. I now have an Ultra as my primary on the big boat and it's, by far, the best anchor I've ever used - beats the Mantus, beats the Rocna.

The question was yesterday about Delia's accident which collapsed the bridge in Boltimor - whether anchors on container ships can stop a ship. I'm trying to find out why ships don't drop anchors or do they not brake or its too long to do ?

BE AWARE: This is not an all in one USCG compliant light and all mounting positions shown in the video are in violation of the USCG rules: lights must be unbroken- you cannot block them in any way! So this light is shown mounted TO LOW in all positions for compliance. Also, if you boat travels at speeds greater than 7kn you must exhibit either an all around white, OR you must add a steaming light no less than 1m (3.3ft) above the Red/Green. Be educated, it is up to you make sure your vessel is in compliance and this video is very misleading. You can basically only use this for the Red/Green on the bow and then need to add an additional 360 degree all around white 1m above it on the stern to be in compliance. Just know this thing only takes you HALF WAY to compliance on your average dinghy.

OMG this is one of the worst videos I have ever seen. This does not reflect anything even close to being real. Maybe you should show the anchor hanging vertically and bariy touching the sand and then claim none of them work at all. This is so bad I will not buy an of them based on this test.

Go ahead Mantus discredit yourself with tests. I was thinking Mantus was a decent anchor until I came across of this video. Now I hate Mantus company. Very unprofessional.

Love the concept and design but looks like the weight increased to 190 Lbs. Was hoping it would be comparable to a Highfield 360. Any opportunity to optimize the roto to get the weight down for us weight sensitive catamaran sailors? This could be a great alternative to and OC and traditional inflatable but the weight is a challenge for this size.

Lol this test is moot. Show us a side view split screen with equal amount of ropes. Mantus is rubbish, just damages everything inside the boat. It’s bad when companies have to fudge their tests to sell an inferior product Shame

I love your products and have been waiting for this light to be released for a couple of years now (I saw a prototype on the internet a while back). I have a couple of questions... What is the run time on this light? Sometimes I am out lobstering at night for 8+ hours.. Will this light last that long? Also my boat/dinghy has a stainless nav arch. Do you have a mounting option for the Navigation Light similar to your Snap-On Light? If not, is there a way I can mount it to your Mantus Rail Clamp? For me that would be a very clean way to mount it and high enough that it will be very visible. Thank you!!!
